..::Hello Rainy Vancouver

I'm getting ready to jet off to Vancouver, BC for the week which means I'm starting to pack aka finally unpacking my suitcase from last week's trip to MA. For me the first step in packing (after the reluctant unpacking) is always checking the forecast. One of the many things my job has taught me, is to pack efficiently for whatever climate I may find myself in, which for this self proclaimed clothes addict has been a hard lesson to learn. I hate not having "options." What happens when I wake up in the morning and feel like wearing my favorite black jeans with my favorite brown boots, but I've only packed blue jeans? Or what if I'm walking down the street and see some girl wearing an ensemble that I want to recreate but all the pieces are hanging in my closet in LA? Or what if I suddenly find myself invited to a cocktail party and all I have is a suitcase full of swimsuits - A GIRL NEEDS OPTIONS. Well after checking the forecast for this coming week, I've resolved that my "options" for Vancouver must be able to handle the rain. Goodbye Sunnnny Santa Moinca, HELLO Rainy Vancouver. Rainboots, raincoat, leggings, leather jacket, scarves, sweaters, sweaters and more sweaters....what are your go to rainy day ensembles?
