Today however, I remember the flick for a different reason: sadly Brittany Murphy will no longer be "Rollin with the homies" the actress passed away today at the age of 32 - She will be missed!

..::Don't Haight

I had a free day in SF last week so I grabbed my umbrella and walked thru the city. The above are some iphone photos I took while wandering in and out of the shops on the infamous Haight Street. I was mostly looking for some vintage finds in the plethora of vintage stores that line this street, but nothing spectacular caught my eye. I was however enamoured with the detailing on the negligee that I took a picture of - it was beautiful, but far too pricey even for vintage. I also spent some time in Amoeba looking at all the vinyls. It was pretty amazing especially considering how far and few between music stores are becoming with the advancements of downloading music rather than purchasing CDs and records. All in all another fabulous day in San Fran-tastic. Until next time....

After lamenting to a guy friend of mine about having no clue what to buy the men in my life this Christmas he suggested I check out Uncrate.com. WOW - okay welcome to the coolest gift buying guide for dudes! All my problems were solved within minutes of clicking through this site, I even found some gadgets that piqued my interest. Don't let all the bacon flavored items deter you from perusing all the offerings that can be found for any guy on your list all in one handy site (bacon flavored chapstick anyone?). I'm telling you now, bookmark this site for future use year round, I give it an A+ in fun unique gifts for every type of guy - even the ones who have everything.

I came across this lil vintage beauty today on shopbop.com when I was finishing up my holiday shopping online due to the rainstorm outside. Needless to say once I was done with everyone on my list I did a little browsing of my own ;) Really into the mix of hard chain with pretty details like the bow and antique coin. Love it!

..::Breakfast @ Tiffanys

I never was one who could resist something sparkly - or Tiffanys for that matter, but I couldn't resist snapping a few photos with my iphone the other night as I walked past the small shadow box windows. I know these pictures aren't the best, but hey its all I had to work with so I can't complain! These windows were made mostly from what appeared to be some sort of white card-stock that was hand crafted into these minature scenes and then brought to life with the glittering jewelry. The end result was like peeking into a BEDAZZLED winter wonderland. Naturally, I was in love...
