Today is the day! Its finally here! EC and GI are getting hitched today!

I couldn't be more excited to be apart of this special day.

How could you not have a fabulous Friday when you have

a gold star dusted brownie for breakfast at your desk?! Today

was destined to be wonderful. Off to enjoy a quite night

at home and finish packing for Japan. Soaking up every ounce

of free time before the craziness begins! Happy Friday!

Your day can only get better when it starts with finding

out that someone has broken into your car and stolen your tool bag.

In situations like this there really isn't much to do. I can sit here and

be upset about it all day or I can move on with my life.

Days like these make me feel sad for the world we are living in.

Thank goodness no one was harmed.

Getting ready for my trip to Japan. My pre-packing session was actually a success!

Who wouldve known ?! Can't wait to reunite with old friends for a new adventure.

4 days and counting - hope the remaining packing goes just as well considering

I'll be dancing the night away at my friend EC's wedding prior to my departure.

We all have our days. Most days are fine and some more stellar than others.

I was never one to walk around with a smile on my face 24/7. I attribute that

to my introspective Scorpio nature. I'm always thinking. Most times in deep contemplation

about something or other. My paternal grandparents were constantly on my case

about what was wrong with me and I never quite understood what they meant. So sue me

because I don't look like Miss Suzie Fucking Sunshine, but take pity on me for I suffer

from Chronic Bitch Face despite my happy disposition! That's right folks, its finally been diagnosed.

I supremely dislike the thought of giving up my blog, but its saddens

me just as much when I can't write as often as I'd like. Lately, I've been

grappling with the notion that growing older seems to mean

less time of my own. Less time to sit and daydream. Less time

to give myself a pretty manicure. Less time to see my friends. Less

time for pretty much everything I once did in my free time.

Although I hate to admit it, I've finally had to face the fact

that I'm officially a grown up. Le sigh. I'm now on a mission to find more time.

There is nothing that gets me more excited than something sparkly. While I prefer to wear it as jewelry, there is something to be said about head to toe sparkles in the form of a dress. My love affair with Elie Saab isn't new, but man after seeing this dress, it is definitely renewed!
