Continuing on with my "No Fear" quest of 2010 I purchased something that was slightly out of the ordinary when I was out shopping with fellow blogger, S of Be Lovely, on Tuesday afternoon. We had been wandering in and out of several stores and nothing seemed to be screaming my name besides a silver nailpolish named "Social Climber" which I purchased at Sephora. Just as we were about to call it a day we walked by H&M and decided to go in - mainly there was something gold and sparkly on display on the front table nearest the entrance and we both wanted to investigate. Turns out the gold sparkly number was much less impressive up close, but not to worry because out of the corner of my eye I spotted something equally sparkly and much more exciting - Black Sequin Harem Pants.
Now I know that this trend is nothing incredibly "new" at this point, I however, with my new daring "No Fear" policy decided that I needed to try on these pants. So with a little hesitation off to the dressing room I went....I was in love....again. A few dance moves in front of the mirror later, I was walking out the door with my newest purchase which, S assured me would gain lots of praise at work that night. Naturally she was right - its amazing what a little sparkle can do at 3am when you're working thru the night and you really just want to be in bed. My mood was instantly lifted and based on all the compliments I got from my co-workers I believe I may have raised their spirits as well ;) Pics coming soon...
