Sometimes I like to pretend I'm someone else living a life other than my own. I like to imagine that there are people in the world who play dress up every night, go to fabulous parties, and live utterly lavish lives all while following their dreams because money is no object and nothing can stop them. Then I look at the news and am stricken with sadness and guilt that I spend time imagining such frivolous things when there are tragedies happening around every corner. Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a dreamer, but then again where would a world full of tragedies be without a few hopes and dreams? I just made a donation to The Red Cross to help those in need in Japan. Having been there several times in the last year, I'm absolutely saddened by the devastation from the recent earthquakes and tsunami. Watching the footage is surreal and quite frankly it just breaks my heart seeing a country in such a state of disaster. Sending hopes and dreams of a new start for all those affected, especially my friends and F21 family who live there. What can you do to help? Donate here. Every little bit helps.
