Now I consider myself somewhat of a cook. I love to cook. I love to bake. I love to wander the aisles of the market looking at the possibilities for breakfast/lunch/dinner. However last summer I moved into a studio apartment and lets just say that cooking in my kitchen is an EVENT. Not only is it an event, but cooking mostly for one is a chore unless I want to eat the same thing for 4 days straight. So now for the confession of the century....I used my stove last night for the first time in 8 months to do something other than boil water. Shocking I know. Its amazing what I can do with a microwave! Anyway I was at the market after work yesterday and I really felt like making some sort of egg and veggie scramble so I purchased the necessary ingredients to make that possible and headed home to face my tiny little kitchen. And what do you know? SUCCESS! Looking forward to many more eventful nights in the teeny tiny kitchen. I hope you enjoy these photographs by the talented Rachel Bee Porter.
