..::Rise and SHINE::..

It has become clear that summer has decided to skip LaLa Land this year, which for a sun worshipper like myself, is rather depressing (not that I've actually had a lot of time to spend basking in it's golden rays, but you know what I mean.) Waking up to a grey morning has got me in the mood for all things fall including finding my new fall go-to nail shade and adding more navy to my wardrobe, inspired by my new ring that I bought in Korea a few weeks ago. It seems only fitting that the shade I chose to try for today is called "You Don't Know Jacques." Seeing as I spend most of my Mondays at the airport, I run into a lot of people who "Don't Know Jacques" if you catch my drift.... The idea of an "expert traveler line" at every airport is becoming increasingly more appealing with each passing week, as I battle my way through the crowds of people who seem to be attending their first "rodeo" and haven't a clue how to work the self check in kiosks, nor how to quickly get through the security check point (lace up, knee high boots = not a security friendly choice, duh.) Today I'm heading up to Seattle for the week - yet another reason for my seasonal depression as the forecast predicts it to be sunny and warm up there and I was not expecting that in the city that boasts eternal winter. Le sigh. Guess I should take a minute to rethink the items I threw in my suitcase last night after that third glass of wine.... definitely won't be needing all those sweaters.
