Like the age old question, "which came first the chicken or the egg?" I have pondered the debate between art and fashion. Is fashion art? Can art be fashion? Are they connected or disconnected? Related or distant cousins? Which follows and which one leads? I've seen how art inspires fashion, but can Haute Couture inspire a painting in the same way? Much has been written on this subject and with each book and article I read, I find a new truth about the two subjects and their inter-connectedness or disconnect. Just living the life of the curious creative mind......
