I LOVED ring pops when I was a kid. I would beg my Mom to buy them for me each time we were at the checkout stand at the market and then promptly place it on my ring finger and pretend I was getting married to whatever boy I had a crush on at the moment. I'm always fascinated by the kinds of objects that can suddenly become a piece of art. I love the simplicity of this idea and the execution is beautifully done with the candy dripping down the wall. Its funny how often we might recite these phrases in our lives, yet they don't always last forever. Just like the ring pop I tried to save for months....it was eventually eaten by ants. I guess that's why engagement rings are made of diamonds. Diamonds are supposed to be forever.
