..::Seeing is Believing

Well I can't see the future, although there are many days, like today, that I wish I could! However like most "powers" that us mere mortals do not posses, I'm sure that seeing the future comes with a few not so great side effects. For example, I would love to know when I'll win the lottery, but lets be honest, it wouldn't be as exciting if I knew it was going to happen. Okay, yes I'd be stoked, but the surprise is half the fun, right? RIGHT! Not to mention that the minute you are able to see the future you're no longer living your life. From that first glimpse on, you will be living your life through your visions. You will be able to plan your reaction to every event that is about to occur before it even happens. And what happens if it turns out I'm a bad actress and I can't act out the correct reactions I wish to convey? Could you imagine the horror? Let's say I had a vision that my Dudefriend was going to propose and I didn't like the ring. I couldn't act surprised because that's the hardest thing to fake, AND on top of "acting" surprised, I'd also have to act like I loved the ugly ring? No thanks! That's too much work for a girl of twenty-something, don't you agree? So now, the more I think about it, the more I realize that being able to see the future would be quite annoying. But it would be awesome if I could just see what day it is that I win the lottery, so I can finally stop working for the man, start my business and not have to worry about when it's all going to start "happening" for me? Yeah, that one vision would be cool. I guess I should start playing the lottery first.....
