I was watching 500 Days of Summer the other night and heard a quote that had previously gone unnoticed: "Color my life with the chaos of trouble."
If you know me, then you know my penchant for trouble of all kinds - I mean what kind of life would I be living if I didn't kick up my heels every once in a while and indulge in some mischief? Clearly this quote spoke to me. This movie speaks to me. I know a lot of people hated it because of its lack of "happy ending" but to me, it ends perfectly because its real. There is heartbreak in real life and I LOVE this movie for showing that not every story of "boy meets girl" ends in happily ever after. Not to say that I don't believe in fairytales, because even at my age I still do, however, Hollywood FINALLY gave us something that we can actually relate to. I haven't been able to get this saying out of my head for a week now.....decided to make it a permanent fixture in my life by photo-collaging the above photo and putting it in a frame on my gallery wall. Kind of made me miss my old office and my days of graphic design all day everyday.....just a lil.
