Wow, a whole month has disappeared into thin air. I'm not quite sure where October went to be honest. Works been busy and the weekends even busier. Now that the holiday season is upon us its only going to get more insane, but I'll try harder this month to be around sharing inspiration and things I'm up to. I have so much going on in my lil head, I don't even know where to begin! I can't wait to see where the last two months of 2011 take me!

Well it took a little bit or organization and negotiation, but the cohabitation has begun. Still trying to find that balance between girly and manly. However this dining room is a pretty good direction to go in. We'll get there eventually. I'm just thrilled to be on this road with the love of my life. Really nothing else matters.

Umm I'm kind of obsessing over these lil plastic succulent planters while simultaneously thinking to myself, "Why didn't I think of that?" Especially because I made myself a pet the other day....his name is Bronx, which is short for his full name, Bronx the Brachiosaurus. Anyways. Why didn't I think to cut a hole in his back and plant something? Damn it.

..::Internal Battles::..

Lately I seem to be having battles with myself. Internal dialogues that go in circles. I can't seem to make up my mind in so many areas of my life. Also I can't seem to figure out what's holding me back from making the decisions in the first place. Is it fear? Probably. Fear of the unknown. Fear of failure. Fear of fear itself. I know eventually I'll figure it out. Like with everything in life - its all about timing. And in times like this its best to drink champagne and dance on tables. Obviously.

I have money burning a hole in my pocket and I can't seem to figure out what to do with it. Extremely odd considering that when I'm broke there are a million and one things I wish I could buy. What's wrong with this picture? Oh, that's right. I believe that's "responsibility" knocking at my door. Maybe I'll ignore it and buy this instead. Such a fabulous bar cart - actually I'm obsessed. Too bad it's no longer available at Restoration Hardware. BOOOOO!! The search continues.

Of course the one Missoni for Target item that I actually wanted to purchase was sold out. Go figure. These designer collabs must be the biggest days of the year for Target. Perhaps I'll trek to a Target outside of the fashionable world's radar....maybe then I can find my throw blanket. Shessh!

I've been really into things made out of metal lately. I'm not sure why, but I love this wine rack from CB2 even though I know I'll never be able to keep it full. Oh the problems of my life. On another note I am having a real problem letting go some of the things in my closet even though I know they need to be given away. Who wants to help me clean out my closet? I see a few bags making their way to the Goodwill soon.

..::Monday Bonus Points::..

Despite the fact that its a Monday, AND that I injured myself at work (I got into a fight with a mannequin that tried to beat me up) today was quite a good day. Mostly because after I got hurt I had ice cream for lunch and then after work I picked up my bonus check. Just as fast as you get knocked down, you can easily pick yourself up. I love how life is like that sometimes.

When the man-friend is away the lady will play - and by play I mean online shop in bed whilst drinking wine and watching the Devil Wears Prada. Just made a purchase for the kitchen (see above pics). Oh what a lovely lil Sunday evening its been indulging in my old habits like wine and shopping for dinner. But I must admit, I do miss him already. Oh to be madly in love...its a beautiful thing.
