I'm currently time traveling to a distant land - to a time somewhere ahead of what time it is now at the time you're reading this. I technically won't see the light of day on March 31st, but jumping right ahead to April 1st. Fancy pants. I love my life of planes, trains, and automobiles. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Kelly Cutrone is a bitch. She is a bad-ass, all powerful, bitch and I think I love her. Not in a lesbionic way, but as a mentor. I want to be a bitch, just like her. Kelly is a pioneer for all women entrepreneurs. It will help you on your way to releasing your inner Goddess, trust me. It took me all of a day to read - it's short, but it's also that empowering that I didn't want to put it down. ..::Bagel Bliss::..

For several months now I've been driving down Beverly Drive and noticing a rather large sign that read "Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. Coming Soon." Being a bagel lover who has pretty much sworn off bagels altogether (except for special occasions) I saw this sign as a danger zone to be avoided at all costs. Today I noticed that they were finally open and the crowd inside lured me in to take a closer look. Upon closer examination I noticed the place was packed and the line wrapped through the entire place. Naturally I took my investigation (and willing accomplice to join me in what was sure to soon be bagel bliss) to the back of the line where we stood staring at the myriad of bagel options. You name it and this place can/will do it with a bagel - from breakfast to pizza the options seemed endless. My accomplice and I both settled on ordering Bagel Scooper Melts (they hollow out the bagel leaving only the crunchy outsides and then stuff it with the ingredients of your choosing). I got the Veggie Lover Scooper Melt on an Everything Bagel and I have one word for you.....DELICIOUS! It may have been the first time, but I can assure you it was not the last....hangover cure anyone?

I've had one of the best, most relaxing weekends. Having 3 days off really allows you to appreciate your time. I've been part productive, due to my upcoming trip and part unproductive due to being sucked into finishing several books that I just couldn't put down. Last night my friend Jackie came over for a much needed gossip session and some vino. I love entertaining....even for just two people. Now I'm off for a little stroll and coffee date in the rain. Guess I shouldn't have packed my rainboots all the way in the back of my closet just yet - wishful thinking. Happy Sunday!

I love it when I wake up early on my days off. Makes my time off seem so much more rewarding and extra long. Feeling extra girly and frilly so I pulled some inspiration photos that matched my mood to share with you today. Hoping that this rain I flew home to last night doesn't get in the way of my day or my weekend for that matter. I'm really in the mood for some sunshine and blue skies. So over the rain especially because my umbrella broke the other day and at this point in the season, I don't want to buy a new one. Looking forward to a coffee date and gossip session with one of my besties today, but for now I'm off to work on my fitness. Happy Friday!
