..::Fearlessly Flawless::..

I lived to see the end of my first day back at the office. Whew! I couldn't

stop thinking about London today and all the

inspiring things I saw while I was there. Although there was little 

time for frivolous wandering around the city, I did squeeze

in some time to spy on the window competition

on my way to work. This H&M window 

had me at first sight. I mean, its just sooo good.

..::The Lost Art of the Post::..

Recounting the last two months would be exhausting to say the least. 

I lived it once and now its time to simply move on from that and start fresh. 

However my trip to London, that ate up most of July, was far 

too amazing to dismiss it completely. Here is a collection of paper goods

from my travels through the city. When the Manfriend and I travel, we 

always write each other a post card. Since we both travel for work, we have

quite the collection now. I brought him back the one that says "London Games." 

It's actually made out of wood, and I thought it only fitting since part of

the reason I traveled to London was to make things pretty for the 

London Olympics. Definitely an experience I will not soon forget.

I used to be a blogger. Not like a "real" blogger who gets paid to blog,

 but nonetheless I was a girl with a blog. I quite enjoyed it, and still do. 

Where has the time gone? Dear blog, I've missed you so, 

but I'm coming back. No more floating away.

My goodness I'm exhausted! Ready for bed and its barely 7pm.

..::Adventures in Cupcakes::..

Today is my love's birthday and he is on the other side of the world (okay he's in Boston, but it

might as well be the other side of the world as far as I'm concerned). To celebrate his birth I stopped by the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM this morning and got myself 

a red velvet treat to enjoy all by my lonesome. Then I

stopped by the Grove to pick up a birthday present that he would never imagine he would be getting. I can't wait for him to come home and to see the look on his face!!!

..::Walking on Sunshine::..

I know that its hard to be a super positive person ALLLLLL the time. 

I know because I've tried. However its not hard to be a pleasant person most

of the time. I know I'm prone to a few bad days and funky moods here and

there, but man being happy is so MUCH more FUN! I've been challenging

myself to smile at strangers, go out of my way for little random acts of kindness, 

and having more conversations with people I encounter. Mostly I've been

challenging myself to slow down a bit and enjoy the little things in life. 

I must say it has me in the best of moods! I highly recommend you give it a try, 

but if you're having a "day" then by all means have it. Just remember how 

easily your bad day can ruin someone else's sunny disposition.

Today I think I successfully made 10 different lists. I crossed them 

off checked them twice and now I can't even keep my head straight.

I know I have things to attend to on the home front, but this list making gal can't make one more 
list today. I'm pooped. Looks like it's a bad TV, glass of wine kinda Monday. Hooray!

..::When in Doubt, Shop it Out::..

There are days when I wake up and can't find a single

thing in my closet that I'd like to put on. Other days it seems

my closet is a black hole of endless possibilities. Weird, right? 

I think most girls can agree, that a change in the weather equals

and undeniable urge to go shopping for a new wardrobe appropriate 

for the new season. Or maybe its just me.....
