I love seeing all of these pretty packages under my first Christmas tree! I must say, I know a lot of people who made it on the "Nice" list this year. And to think I still have a few more gifts to purchase! Oy vey! How will they all fit?!

In the spirit of giving I'll be attaching a little something extra to everyone's gifts this year as a reminder of just how naughty or nice they have been. I just love fun holiday treats! Tis the season for giving and I'm feeling extra gracious this year (despite my not so gracious budget). I can't wait to see what Santa has up his sleeve for me this Christmas after giving me such a fabulous 2011. What could possibly top the best year ever? I guess we shall see on Christmas morning.

Its beginning to look a lot like something spectacular. Today was not a particularly great day, but the two glasses of wine I just had while perusing Pinterest were quite lovely. I love that my Manfriend knows exactly how to cheer me up. Def love him so much.

Do you know what I dream of - well one of the things I dream of? Having one dedicated room in my future home to design in. A room that looks as beautiful as the things that come out of it. A room I don't have to clean up all the time because it won't also double as my kitchen/living/whatever space I currently use. A room that is chaotically organized. A room full of inspiration and books and baubles. One day it will be mine. I can't wait.

Okay so this stool is amazing. This site is amazing. How in the world am I just now discovering Made Goods?!? Everything on this site is speaking to my design aesthetic - okay not speaking actually its all screaming at me from my screen. This stool for example. Could it be any more amazing? It's a dodecehedron, it's gold, and you can sit on it (or use it as a small table)! And as a bonus if you're not into the stool, there are two smaller versions that you could put on an entry table. If I had a million dollars, I'd spend it here. I wonder how far that would get me....

Tis the season - and I'm SO SO excited! So many exciting things to do and places to go. Its always so unfortunate that this month always flies by with all the fun going on, but the good news it that it happens every year! Here's a cute idea for an alternative advent calendar. Perhaps I'll try this this year (along with the stockings I want to make for me and the Manfriend). Wishing you all a "Merry Happy Whatever" as you celebrate this holiday season.
