It's funny how sometimes what I'm doing in real life seems to pop up via the internet at the same time. I found this photo on one of my fav blogs, Design Love Fest, and consequently I happen to be covered in those exact paint colors as I type. Our summer installation has me painting up a storm and literally coming home with my work all over me! I had a man come up to me at the gym to tell me that I had something pink all over my arm. Haha. Love it.

Wishing for some new items for my new apartment....well hopefully my new apartment. I should know by tonight if it's mine. I'm thinking that the Hello Kitty magnet left on the fridge by the previous tenant is a sign that this apartment was meant for me. Fingers crossed. This place has 3 closets....you can imagine what that means for a girl who has been living with one closet for the last year. HEAVEN ON EARTH.

Its happening again. The urge to move. The need for space. Closet space. Kitchen counter space. Storage space. I've outgrown my Beverly Hills Mansion. Although I dread giving up my coveted zip code, I think it might be time for a new adventure. I have approx. one day to put in my 30 day notice and find a new home. I'd say I'm off to a fairly good start after seeing two apartments today. One is def in the running for my new abode and the other might as well have been a crack den. Just saying.

Cinco de Mayo will always hold a special place in my heart - I mean who doesn't love a colorful fiesta?!?! Jokes aside, my love for mexican beer doesn't hold a candle to the fact that I graduated college on Cinco de Mayo and that was truly unforgettable. I can hardly believe its been 4 years already. Where does the time go? This year I'll be celebrating the Seis de Mayo at a small fiesta with some of my closest friends. Of course I'll be bringing along my famous 7 layer bean dip as well as another surprise in the form of a date. Something tells me that this will be another Cinco de Mayo for the books, just saying. Pass the margaritas por favor.
