I'm currently time traveling to a distant land - to a time somewhere ahead of what time it is now at the time you're reading this. I technically won't see the light of day on March 31st, but jumping right ahead to April 1st. Fancy pants. I love my life of planes, trains, and automobiles. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Kelly Cutrone is a bitch. She is a bad-ass, all powerful, bitch and I think I love her. Not in a lesbionic way, but as a mentor. I want to be a bitch, just like her. Kelly is a pioneer for all women entrepreneurs. For several months now I've been driving down Beverly Drive and noticing a rather large sign that read "Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. Coming Soon." Being a bagel lover who has pretty much sworn off bagels altogether (except for special occasions) I saw this sign as a danger zone to be avoided at all costs. Today I noticed that they were finally open and the crowd inside lured me in to take a closer look. Upon closer examination I noticed the place was packed and the line wrapped through the entire place. Naturally I took my investigation (and willing accomplice to join me in what was sure to soon be bagel bliss) to the back of the line where we stood staring at the myriad of bagel options. You name it and this place can/will do it with a bagel - from breakfast to pizza the options seemed endless. My accomplice and I both settled on ordering Bagel Scooper Melts (they hollow out the bagel leaving only the crunchy outsides and then stuff it with the ingredients of your choosing). I got the Veggie Lover Scooper Melt on an Everything Bagel and I have one word for you.....DELICIOUS! It may have been the first time, but I can assure you it was not the last....hangover cure anyone?

I've had one of the best, most relaxing weekends. Having 3 days off really allows you to appreciate your time. I've been part productive, due to my upcoming trip and part unproductive due to being sucked into finishing several books that I just couldn't put down. Last night my friend Jackie came over for a much needed gossip session and some vino. I love entertaining....even for just two people. Now I'm off for a little stroll and coffee date in the rain. Guess I shouldn't have packed my rainboots all the way in the back of my closet just yet - wishful thinking. Happy Sunday!

I love it when I wake up early on my days off. Makes my time off seem so much more rewarding and extra long. Feeling extra girly and frilly so I pulled some inspiration photos that matched my mood to share with you today. Hoping that this rain I flew home to last night doesn't get in the way of my day or my weekend for that matter. I'm really in the mood for some sunshine and blue skies. So over the rain especially because my umbrella broke the other day and at this point in the season, I don't want to buy a new one. Phew!! Vegas has been a whirl wind, but there's no better satisfaction than a job well done! Above are a few iphone snapshots of my work from the last two days in Vegas. Starting my 3 day weekend a little early with a cocktail at the airport bar as I wait for my flight back to LaLa Land. I get to spend a lovely 3 days at home then back on a jet plane for a 12 day trip to the Philippines where I'll get to create magic all over again. I love my job, I love my life and right now I'm really in love with my vodka soda. Happy day.

Dolce Vita - Talia Fisherman Sandal in Desert

Dolce Vita is right! How could life be anything but sweet when you're strutting

around in these babies? I'm a very particular shoe shopper,

but when I saw these on shopbop.com last night it was love at first sight.

They are everything I love in a Spring/Summer shoe - strappy with a

platform (major comfort wherever a platform is involved + extra inches for my shortness). Payday is only a few days away. Can't wait to strap these on my feet.

Now for the hard part...what color to choose: black, nude, or desert (shown).

I've been lamp shopping lately. Okay I take that back because I've technically been lamp "browsing" and not shopping. Shopping requires actual purchasing of said lamp.

I want something different, but I can't seem to pin point exactly what

I'm searching for. I've had my eye on a pretty cool gold lamp that is made out of

a tree stump, but naturally as with most things I fall in

love with, it's out of my price range. Le sigh. The search continues....

Oh Monday, Monday. Nothing beats the Monday blues like a little apartment

inspiration first thing in the morning. Especially when that inspiration

includes a bright fuschia chaise. I LOVE the combination of fuschia and gold...

well gold looks fantastic with most shades of pink now that I think

about it. I want this kind of modern meets romance room in my future abode.

I'm off to spend the next two days living down in the lap of luxury

known as Newport Beach and then straight to the craziness that

is Las Vegas for the remainder of the week. Already looking forward to this weekend.

Love, love, LOVE the golden Sam Edelman sandals I bought last weekend. I'm so happy sandal season is upon us. However I did just hear a report that there will be some rain this weekend. Booo, rain!! This little taste of constant sunshine and warmth we've had the last two weeks will be missed, but hey I guess there really is no better place to debut my new sandals than on my trip to the Philippines.
